I had the incredible opportunity to begin my professional journey with KongaPay as a software engineering intern. During my internship, I was able to dive deep into various aspects of software development, including understanding the architecture of payment systems, contributing to live projects, and collaborating closely with a dynamic engineering team. The experience sharpened my problem-solving skills and gave me a solid foundation in coding practices, application development, and teamwork.

One of the highlights of my internship was the supportive and growth-oriented environment at KongaPay. I was encouraged to ask questions, explore new tools, and apply what I had learned to real-world projects. This hands-on approach not only helped me develop my technical skills but also gave me confidence in navigating complex systems. I am particularly grateful for the mentorship I received from senior engineers, whose guidance was instrumental in shaping my understanding of software development processes.

As my internship progressed, I found myself increasingly drawn to the quality and performance aspects of software. This interest led to my transition into a full-time role as a Quality Assurance Engineer at the conclusion of my internship. Moving into QA allowed me to leverage my software engineering knowledge while ensuring that the products we developed were reliable, functional, and met the high standards expected by our users. I’ve since had the opportunity to contribute to building more robust, bug-free applications and work closely with both development and product teams to enhance the overall user experience.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to grow within KongaPay, and the transition from intern to full-time staff has been a rewarding and enriching experience. My time here has reinforced my passion for technology and quality assurance, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the innovative work being done at KongaPay.
